Elevated Jacquards

A resurgence of the navy style. More city-like, more contemporary. A color scale of blue and beige, of white and ecru, with hints of brown and navy blue. An emphasis on jacquard with baroque motifs, damasks and arabesques on top of animated bases of fancy, rustic, iridescent and chine threads. The drawings can be tone on tone or contrasting. The stripes are combined with motifs, which in turn blend with simulated plains.

Inspiration from the 60sand 70s. a quest for simulated plains, for tiny geometric motifs, always animated by sophisticated luxurious yarns. A play with contrasts to enrich the surfaces, enhancing the micro-weaves. Opaque and shiny, subtly rustic and synthetic, or instead contrasting counts that bestow a strong personality upon the fabrics and yet still remain discreet. A practice of style for which the choice of yarns holds an essential role.

A universe inspired by the mixing of motifs. Here, color is a leading thread between very diverse drawings of flowers, leafage, floral patterns, stripes and checks. The rustic textures in linen or cotton are combined with silk, viscose and metallic threads. The roughness of motifs almost rustic and craftsmanlike in a 50s style, is blended with refined and elaborated drawings for a radical chic style cooled by pastel colors.
